My favorite season

   

I love fall. I start looking forward to fall in early August already and yes all you who live in Alberta think I'am totally crazy but there is just something about it that I love love love! One of the greatest things about fall is Starbucks pumpkin spice latte Yum my mouth is just watering for one right now and the closest Starbucks is 45 min away!! I also love the trees and the thing I miss the very most and is almost making me cry right now is corn harvest in Texas:-(  There is nothing like it, the sound of corn rustling, the hum of the combines, the crisp nights, having supper in the field. And to think its going on without me right now makes me very sad! Last year we went home for harvest but this year with our big trip coming up Oct 27 it didn't work out! Anyway I'll post about our trip later! Have a Happy Fall Ya'll!

Today

Started by waking up at 4:30 AM and packing husbands lunch!! Brisket and barbecue sauce is revolting that early just for future reference.  I of course headed back to bed and slept till the more civilized hour of 9:30 then it was off to the nursing home for ladies tea, off to Three Hills to the farmers market. We (two friends and I) chowed down at A&W then back home, to the grocery store, to sis in laws to put up pears! And no not done yet, a relaxing coffee with a friend and to a candle party in the eve! Now I'm just waiting for hubby to get home and poor guy didn't get to sleep till 9:30 like me but has worked a lot harder!

Happy Birthday Darin!

Yesterday was Darin's 23rd birthday unfortunately he had to work all day and night the day before so he came home around lunch time and was very tired!! We celebrated in the evening by going to Tony Roma's for supper. And for his birthday gift I bought tickets to see Kooza an awesome Cirque du Soleil show thats in Calgary right now!! HELLO!!

Hi I am totally new to this blogging thing but I thought I'd give it a try! I have thought of starting one for a while but I couldn't come up with a name so one lonesome day I thought of this! I can't promise how faithful I'll be at it but here goes!!!  Oh and by the way I am totally addicted to reading other peoples blogs I guess I am just kinda nosy.
